- Like the parent plant, it is a hybrid of Asian and Virginia persimmons, combining frost resistance and fruit quality of parent species.
- If you want to plant persimmons in colder areas and you care about quality ( size and taste) of the fruits, the Nikitas Gift and NB NO2 varieties are the best choice. A fully ripe fruit has a blue to blue-violet color and red flesh.
