  • Fig tree fig tree 'Della Signora' -  frost-resistant variety with really large fruits (80-100g) of dark pink to purple color. The flesh is sweet, light pink to light brown in color. We harvest the fruits from mid-September to October, they are ripe for consumption in October. They are suitable for direct consumption, but also for drying.

  • Cultivation: if the above-ground part freezes, it will send out new shoots from the ground in the spring, on which it will bear fruit the same year. It needs soil that is slightly calcareous, with a clay component and rich in humus. If you grow it in the garden, find a sunny spot against a south wall. Plants withstand -15 degrees, perennials even -21. Even so, we recommend covering against frost.
