  • Interspecies cross between a crane and a pear tree! 
  • An old Czech variety of pear crane, which originated from a random German seedling of "arrow pear" and probably a whooping crane. 
  • It has small, about 5 cm, round, golden yellow fruits with an unusual spicy taste. 
  • They ripen in the first half of September. 
  • The fruits are suitable for direct consumption and compotes. 
  • It is not attacked by pear rust. 
  • A fruit species rare for its resistance and ability to grow even in worse climatic conditions!!
