  • Pistacia vera male variety. Good vitality and a short period of puberty. Regular pollinator of the female Pistacia vera variety of the Kerman type, well covering both flowering periods. A male pistachio produces enough pollen for 8 to 12 female pistachios to bear fruit.

  • Prefers loamy-sandy soils, deep and well-drained. It is a good alternative to the use of poor soils due to its rusticity and durability. It requires little water.
  •     
  • Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Remove the plant from the container and loosen the roots so they can spread in all directions. Cut off any broken roots. Mix the extracted soil with the substrate and fill part of the hole with the obtained mixture. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
