- The Crimson Sky pomegranate is a new attractive variety bred in the Nikita Botanical Garden in Ukraine. It blooms with beautiful orange-red tubular flowers and forms a compact shrub, making it suitable for containers. It blooms from early summer to early fall (July–September). It is characterized by a long flowering period. The fruits are medium-sized, spherical, bright red with juicy, tasty, sweet and sour flesh. They are also considered a real superfood - the seeds and surrounding flesh are rich in vitamin C, calcium, potassium, iron, and antioxidants. It grows to a height of 1.5-2 m and a width of 1.2-1.5 m. The variety has shiny, dark green leaves. It requires a sunny location and well-drained, fertile soil.
