Kansenko quince (Cydonia oblonga Kansenko) is an older, self-fertilizing variety originating from Croatia.
The fruit is a mulberry, which is pear-shaped and yellow in color.
Fruits are used to make jams, marmalades or juices.
Vranja hawthorn begins to bloom late, so there is no danger that the flowers will be damaged by frost.
GROWING: Quince is an unpretentious tree that does not suffer from diseases or pests.
When planting, we choose a sunny/semi-shady, protected location.
We plant it in humous, permeable, neutral soil.
It has similar soil requirements to apple trees.
